Research Interests:
I work on cyanobacteria ecophysiology and plankton trophodynamics. Current projects include studying the nutrient dynamics of the red-tide dinoflagellate, Karenia brevis in the Eastern Gulf of Mexico Florida and examining land use and nitrogen cycling in Coastal Bays, Mayrland. I have studied the ecology of toxic marine cyanobacteria Lyngbya spp. in Florida estuarine and coastal waters.
