Impacts of Our Work

Share:

Maryland Sea Grant produces results that matter for Marylanders and our state’s coastal natural resources.

We carry out our research, education, and outreach programs in an effective, transparent, and accountable fashion. We can show that the federal and state tax dollars that support our program are making a difference.

Maryland Sea Grant receives financial support from Congress through the National Sea Grant College Program within the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, as well as support from the University System of Maryland and other external grants and contracts.

Learn about Maryland Sea Grant’s work from 2018-2023 in our Site Review Briefing Book.

This document was created for our program’s 2024 Site Review, in which Maryland Sea Grant was found to meet the Standards of Excellence expected of all Sea Grant programs.
