Research Interests:

My research goal is to understand the fundamental geomorphic mechanisms governing the evolution of coastal environments and to predict their long-term trajectories under different scenarios.

My current research plan has two main topics: 1) the impact of storms and sea level rise on wetlands eco-geomorphology; 2) coupling between river (and estuaries) hydrodynamics and coastal processes, with a particular focus on the impact of waves. My studies have a balanced method in a wide range of scientific fields: numerical modeling, field work, remote sensing and laboratory experiments.
