Purpose:

North American Wetlands Conservation Act (NAWCA) grants increase bird populations and wetland habitat, while supporting local economies and American traditions such as hunting, fishing, bird watching, family farming, and cattle ranching.

Available Funding:

A 1:1 cost share of non-federal match for habitat and wetland enhancement.

Funding Range:

Up to $100,000 for small grants program; up to $100,000 (with exceptions) for standard grants program.

Wetland and associated uplands restoration and habitat
