Purpose:

Maryland’s Bay Restoration Fund provides grants for homeowners and businesses to upgrade their septic systems, or on-site disposal systems, to the Best Available Technology for reducing nitrogen pollution.

Available Funding:

Onsite Disposal Systems Grants include the costs of installation, any associated plumbing and electricity, and five years of maintenance.

Eligibility:

Owners of septic systems that have a state groundwater discharge permit should apply for funding from the Department of the Environment’s website.
