Purpose:

The grants build and expand K-12 environmental education programs that focus on watershed issues.

Funding Range:

$5,001 to $40,000 (for both single-year and multi-year grants)

Restoration Activity:

Field trips and classroom activities can provide experience in water quality monitoring, as well as terrestrial issues such as erosion control, buffer control, groundwater protection, and pollution prevention.

Eligibility:

Eligible applicants include municipal and county agencies and school districts, public and independent higher educational institutions, non-profit organizations, soil/water conservation districts, and resource conservation and development councils.
