B-WET provides meaningful Bay or stream outdoor experiences to students in the Chesapeake Bay watershed OR training teachers to provide these experiences for their students.

Typical grants range from $50,000 to $200,000.

Education and outreach


Eligible applicants are K-12 public and independent schools and school systems, institutions of higher education, community-based and nonprofit organizations, state or local government agencies, interstate agencies, and Indian tribal governments in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
