Purpose:

This Department of Natural Resources program provides reimbursement grants for Maryland educators to design projects about aquatic resources, projects that incorporate student service learning and community involvement are recommended. Educators involving children in the project from the beginning, including the grant writing process, is encouraged.

Funding Assistance

Funding Range:

Schools can apply for $2,000 per year and Outdoor Ed centers can apply for up to $4,000 per year (cost-share program)

Restoration Activity:

Aquatic resource education for students K-12.

Eligibility:

NGOs, Community organizations
