Project Title:Seasonal Trend, Source Appointment, Spatial Budget, and In-Stream Cycling of Nutrient and Sediment from the Susquehanna River Basin to Chesapeake Bay
Qian Zhang is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering at Johns Hopkins University (JHU) and is advised by Prof. William Ball. His research focuses on exploration and application of statistical methods for historical watershed nutrient and sediment loading analysis, with special attention to trend analysis and associated uncertainty and sensitivity evaluation. Prior to his doctoral research, Zhang obtained his MSE in Environmental Engineering from JHU in 2011.
