Project Title:Advancing Ecosystem Based Fisheries Management: Biological Reference Points for Nutritional Status of Striped Bass (Morone saxatilis)
Will Haus is a master’s student at the University of Maryland College Park in the Department of Environmental Science and Technology. His research involves developing biological reference points for the condition of striped bass in the Chesapeake Bay. With a technology called bioelectrical impedance analysis, he is developing models that could provide a rapid field assessment of the nutritional status of striped bass.
"The fish and I were both stunned and disbelieving to find ourselves connected by a line." -- William Humphrey in “The Armchair Angler"
