Maryland Sea Grant's quarterly magazine explores scientific, environmental, and cultural issues relevant to the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed. In each issue you can read stories about complex issues facing those who live in the Bay watershed — watermen, farmers, scientists, Bay pilots, and others — and how science and outreach inform decisions that can affect all of us. View current and previous issues or download pdfs of entire issues at Chesapeake Quarterly Online; or subscribe to either the paper or electronic version.

Maryland Sea Grant published this bi-monthly newsletter from 1982-2001. Each issue included an in-depth spotlight article focused on
a particular issue related to marine research, policy and management,
history and culture, or outreach and education in the Chesapeake Bay
region. In 2001,
Maryland Marine Notes was replaced by our magazine,
Chesapeake Quarterly. You can view past issues since 1994 — many of which address issues still current today — online at Maryland Marine Notes Online.
