Maryland Sea Grant will have undergraduate fellowships available for the upcoming Research Experience for Undergraduates program.

Students will be selected by the REU Advisory and Selection Committee — in 2011 committee members were: Fredrika Moser, Maryland Sea Grant; Jeff Cornwell, James Pierson, Horn Point Laboratory; Carys Mitchelmore, Jinxia Liu, Chesapeake Biological Laboratory; and Tom Jones, Salisbury University. If you would like to be a member of the selection committee for 2012, please contact Fredrika Moser.

The unique feature of the REU program is that students work with their advisors in deciding on a specific project. To request a student, please answer the following questions, which were developed from recommendations by PI and student participants in previous Maryland Sea Grant REU programs. This information will better enable the REU committee to match fellows with researchers and to plan this summer's activities.
