The Research Experience for Undergraduates fellowship program is supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation to the University of Maryland Sea Grant Program. Its goal is to encourage students to develop independence and confidence in a research-oriented atmosphere, and to continue their education in estuarine and ocean science.
