Dr. Ken Paynter, Director of the University of Maryland College Park's graduate program in Marine, Estuarine, Environmental Science (MEES) program, presents this talk each year to the REU students as part of a seminar on how to apply to graduate schools. The title of his talk is "So you want to go to graduate school?" This is a relaxed, interactive two hour seminar that usually ends with a pizza party and further discussions with Dr. Paynter about marine science.
