Research Areas

Central to Maryland Sea Grant's mission to serve Maryland's coasts is the support of innovative research in the areas of: Ecosystem Health and Function Coastal Resources Water Quality Coastal Communities and Economic Opportunities Research findings in these areas and other related efforts are relayed to scientists, managers, user groups, and the public in a number of ways, including workshops and publications. Additionally, all Sea Grant-supported publications are abstracted and listed by the National Sea Grant Library.
