Maryland Sea Grant solicited nominations for members to serve on the Stock Dynamics Quantitative Ecosystem Team from managers, academics, and stakeholders in the Chesapeake Bay region.  Following is a list of confirmed members of the Stock Dynamics Quantitative Ecosystem Team which includes the chair listed above; in addition the team will be supported by a Quantitative Support Staff (QSS), a Ph-D level student whose dissertation topic directly relates to the QET area of expertise.  The Team held its first meeting in April 2008 and began to analyze a series of key ecosystem issue briefs pertinent to Striped Bass produced by the Striped Bass Species Team.  The team has met several times since that date and is currently developing research proposals to generate ecosystem based reference points that link critical ecosystem stressors for striped bass, blue crabs, menhaden, and Alosines.
