Maryland Sea Grant solicited nominations for members to serve on the Alosines Species Team from managers, academics, and stakeholders in the Chesapeake Bay region.  Following is a list of members of confirmed members of the Alosines Species Team to date. The Alosines Team is scheduled to meet for the first time in mid-September to develop the first iteration of the team's work plan which will identify a series of key ecosystem issue briefs pertinent to Alosines in the Chesapeake Bay.   We anticipate that the Alosines Team will complete their work by late 2009 or early 2010.  When finalized, these briefs will be passed to the QETs who will develop the components of the EBFMPs and generate appropriate reference points based on recommendations from the Alosines Team.
