Alosines Species Team

(click on the American shad, Hickory shad, Alewife and Blueback herring to learn more about these species)

Maryland Sea Grant solicited nominations for members to serve on the Alosines Species Team from managers, academics, and stakeholders in the Chesapeake Bay region. Following is a list of members of the Alosines Species Team. The Alosines Background and Ecosystem Issue briefs are now complete and can be viewed via the link below.  The QETs will use these briefs in developing research proposals to generate the ecosystem based reference points required to target the critical ecosystem stressors identified for alosines in this set of documents.

Thank you to all of the Alosines Species Team Members and outside contributors who worked to develop the Alosines Species Team Background and Issue Briefs!
