Maryland Sea Grant Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU)
The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) summer program is designed to give talented undergraduates from around the United States experience as research interns at marine laboratories of the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES). It is sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Multicultural Students At Sea Together (MAST)
A multidisciplinary program for students to explore the Chesapeake Bay.
Spend 4 weeks under sail, studying marine science, policy, and the heritage of African and Native Americans on the Chesapeake Bay.
