Marine Science Education
To protect and restore the Chesapeake Bay, we must first understand it, and share that understanding with others. This understanding will come from direct contact with the natural environment, through meaningful personal experiences, and it will come through the intellectual endeavors and insights that science brings.Maryland Sea Grant supports a variety of programs and resources in marine and environmental sciences for K-12 students and teachers, undergraduate and graduate students, and the general public. These include workshops, special programs, interactive web lessons, and various media on topics from aquaculture to biotechnology. We also offer summer internships for undergraduate students, trainee and fellowship opportunities for graduate students.
