The fellowship includes a stipend of $33,000 and $7,000 for travel and benefits support for a one-year (non-renewable) appointment.

Applications Due To Maryland Sea Grant: February 29, 2008
Fellowships are open to graduate students who are enrolled in a graduate or professional program with a marine or aquatic-related science or policyinterest at an United States accredited institution of higher education. Qualified graduate students who are either residents or enrolled in Maryland or District of Columbia institutions may apply for this fellowship through the Maryland Sea Grant College program.
The selection process begins annually in January, with a letter from the Director of the Office of Sea Grant to all university Sea Grant directors announcing the program and outlining conditions for candidacy for the fellowship.
