Towed bodies
Shipboard measurements of the Bay's physical and biological features
now have an added capability for in-situ sampling. ScanFish, a
wing-shaped instrumented submersible that is towed from a ship, makes continuous readings of properties including salinity,
temperature, dissolved oxygen and zooplankton abundance.
