Restoring the Bay One River at a Time

|
I live in Indiana, PA. I travel to the Bay at least once a year. My wish was to someday live in the area. With what has happened to realty prices in the area, coupled with the current economy, I now realize that my dream will never come true. The Bay and everything that is "The Bay" is very dear to me. I read the article on the Corsica River and was truly hoping for a fairytale ending. It was not there. I congratulate all involved for the time, effort, money and dedication put into this great project. "Instant" results are what most people need to keep them involved. You all are still plugging away and need to be congratulated. The restoration of the Corsica will take many years. The restoration of the Bay will take many times that number of years. There are many good things in line for the Bay restoration. I read and try to keep informed through the various groups and foundations involved. My fear is that results will not be seen soon enough for many. Those "many" being in government where the money and laws will come from that are needed to stay the course on the Bay cleanup. I SO hope that I am wrong. Again...I applaud you all for all your work and sacrifices, so that I may again visit such a wonderful place. Good luck and stay the course. Rob Winger
